Patrizia Stierli
I was born in Lugano (CH), where I have lived and painted for 30 years. Passionate about painting since childhood, I acquired my artistic background by attending art schools in Italy, France, Switzerland and in 2005 I graduated in scene painting. I began exhibiting in 1998 and, always driven by the desire to discover new techniques, paintings have recently been joined by figures modeled with paper. I bring my visions to life through a realistic technique, traceable to magic realism, which allows me to narrate imaginary but possible worlds. With my works I wish to awake the viewer’s desire to rediscover the wonder of the real.
